A good option to try for those with biochemical reoccurrence after prostatectomy/radiation or with low volume metastatic disease. The dose in the study was a minitrin matrix patch (.2mg/hr) cut in 6 pieces to release 0.033mg/hr of nitroglycerine. This is much less than the nitroglycerine patch dose used for angina.
