Hi anca

I'm so sorry to hear about your challenges , my mother did have the same all the time , Carboplatin + Gemzar combination used to greatly hit the bone marrow , that's why we used to do blood transfusion for my mother in every cycle

in out case the oncologist did change to another chemo combination (5-FU + Endoxan + methotrexate) this combination didn't lowered the blood counts at all !

so there is chemotherapies that can do the job without doing damage to the bone marrow , also its better to add another solutions , DCA worked well for us and made the chemo work again , but DCA is just an example , there are a lot of patients who did take DCA without any positive effect at all , but don't bother with it , there is a lot of things to do and this great blog did documented a lot of treatments and options that have a chance to make things better , you should try always new things , and whenever you feel like nothing is working , don't stop , you should try more and more until you find something that do show positive effect , cancer is not invincible , just don't lose hope and fight hard and always focus and try to learn new things

I know how stressful you feel , just calm down and take a breath and think wisely , don't panic , you should believe that you can do it and make things better , focus and God will help you in your journey

wish the best for you anca

kind regards

Emad

Hi Anca,

For boil you can think about ichthyol(very fast acting).Or Silver sulfadiazine cream.I like silver compounds.

Collodial silver has a great effect on microbes also.

Kind Regards

Ergin

Dear Helga,

Thank you for your advice, I had an exam and because my mom wanted me to take the best grade I didn't have time to read about treating her cancer. They say the psychological part is very important when people have cancer so we try to keep my mom happy and content. She took antibiotics for 5 days and she cured her boil, now she is feeling better, since she stopped chemotherapy 2 weeks ago, because it was not helping her at all. My mom is now carboplatin resistant. Since she is not taking platinum and Gemcitabine any more she is feeling much better without this toxic burn feeling in her mouth.

Thanks to Daniel, now we took blood and sent it to Greece for a test to see what kind of chemotherapies might still work in my mother's case. If something still works, we will continue therapy when we have the results in one week. We also took blood test to see if my mom cand receive Vitamin C IV and we are waiting for the result. The CA-125 marker is very high now (more than 1,000), so her cancer is progressing and what we can do is hope for a miracle from God! You said you had bronchitis for 1-2 years, that's a long time! I cough often because my mom's cancer made me sad and lowered my immune system, I think I might have bronchitis and I hope it will not last 2 years.

Helga, how are you doing? I hope you are well.

Kind regards,

Anca

Hi Emad and Ergin,

Thanks for your kind advice, it helped me so much. I told my mom there are other combinations and we just have to keep faith. My mom is very positive and strong, she is Sagittarius sign. She is stronger than all of us in the house :), we live in a house with my dad and me and my brother and his wife and daughter, we are like a traditional family living all together in a house. I guess this gives my mom strength and desire to fight the cancer. We have a garden with vegetables and fruits and also 6 hens, my mom eats organic eggs and black currants and raspberries fresh from the garden.

My mother is having a blood analysis in a clinic in Greece to see what kind of chemotherapies might still work for her. I hope there are other possibilities for her, although I read all these research articles on the Internet about platinum resistant ovarian cancer, which has a very poor prognosis and it's almost impossible to cure. What we can do is hope and pray to God that she will live more than expected.

I read your mothers are also fighting cancer, I hope they are doing well and the treatment is working. Do not forget the psyhcological part in fighting cancer, they say it is very important and a factor that has led to cancer so it is important to bring peace and happiness in their soul.

Kind regards,

Anca

Dear Anca,

Are you still considering heparin for your mom? I was 'prescribed' a heparin lotion called Lioton (no prescription needed) and applied it to my belly (still undiagnosed but suspect I may have ovarian cancer) and also to my chest where my bronchitis originates from. It seems to me that this heparin ointment helps with both. Does your mom still have her ovaries? You could try to apply it, so you could also see how she generally reacts to heparin. It allegedly helps with communication between the cells. I am not sure they know the precise mechanism against cancer but it seems to be working.

Kinds regards,

Helga

Dear Helga,

I am not considering heparin anymore because of the risk o internal bleeding. But my mom has Lioton, she can use it any time. I am thinking about sstarting DCA,  after everything I read on this site, it might Help.

We are waiting for the blood results from Greece  and see what chemotherapies are good for my mom. This analysis costs 2500 Eur so it should cover mire substances that we don't want to test on my mom bere we know they help.

As far as I know, there is a blood test in my country that tells you if you have cancer somewhere in your body. It should be in your country too. It is pretty expensive here: 2000 Euro.  There is also the CA-125 blood test, which shows the risk for ovarian cancer. Did you do the CA-125 test? Then if the Ca--125 has a higher value  is higher that normal, there is the ultrasound available and then the CT-SCAN. I hope you are not having ovarian cancer, and wish you lots of health.

Kind regards,

Anca

Hi Ergin,

My mother started using Caelyx (Doxorubicin Lyposomal) three weeks ago and she is feeling weak, and tired all the time her CA-125 grew to 4000 and I  don't know what to do. She couldn't eat or drink. We did Vitamin C IV and Magnesium IV today and she felt better, she could drink water and eat fruits. Tomorrow we do ozone therapy, do you know if ozone therapy has some side effects, like spreading cancer? I am so sad, I try to stay optimistic, maybe next week we can do Caelyx chemotherapy again. Someone told me chemotherapy can kill my mom. Is this so dangerous? Without chemotherapy is worst I think...

Kind regards,

Anca

Hi Daniel,

Do you think chemotherapy in my mother's case can do much worse or is it helping in a way? My mom is feeling tired and she has the CA-125 bigger it is 4000 now, and she barely eats ir drinks. Today we did Vitamin C IV an magnesium IV at Virgil and she felt better, she could drink and eat fruits. Tomorrow we do ozone therapy and I want to ask you if it has some side effects, like spreading cancer. I am so scared I could do worse. I am thinking to give another try to chemotherapy next week and have another seession of Caelyx, but I don't know how many sessions should be done to see some improvements? Virgil says chemotherapy can kill my mom, but I think it kept her alive these months... who knows.

Kind regards,

Anca

Hi Dear Anca,

May be you catch the situation from our side.

There is no answer to your questions.

If the question is for me, i only can answer in a sentence.

It is time to try more powerful drugs.

Your doctors knowledge is finished and your knowledge should begin.

4000 is a very high number.

Please begin thinking logically.

Have you ever checked ceruloplasmin levels from blood?

I have TM and can send it to you if you want to begin using.

https://www.cancertreatmentsresearch.com/tetrathiomolybdate-tm/

Or you may want to begin thalidomide

Dear Anca,

I am so sorry to hear about the developments while under the chemo treatments. There is a lot that I wrote on this website about how to try and improve chemo. You may want to share that with your doctor.

Beyond the info I shared here, due to ethical reasons I cannot advice if you should stop chemo or not. As I mentioned on the phone discussion we had, you and your mother have to think and feel what is best, decide, and know that you took the best decision you could based on what you now know.

Ergin's comments above and the offer to help with TM is very kind and you may want to consider that as well.

All the best to you mom, Anca!

Kind regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thank you very much for your answer, we decided to try one more session with Caelys, because I read that it happens to some patients responding to treatment within the first 2 cycles of Caelyx to have a CA-125 higher than at the beginning,. My mother did 2 sessions and we will have one more to see if there is some result after the third session. If there isn't any improvement then I think we should stop Caelyx and the doctor also said that we need to try one more one more.

I read something about TM on your site, do you know people who had results with TM? Then I think I should consider Ergin's offer.

Kind regards,

Anca

Dear Daniel.,

Thank you very much for your support. We are going at Virgil clinic and doing Vitamin C intravenous more times a week, we also did Magnesim IV and ozone therapy. My mom is weak and suffering much pain in the stomach from Caelyx. Your mother is very kind too and is sending messages to my mother and they also spoke on the phone. With such a support system I think my mother has a motivation to fight the disease. But at times she is losing hope and I give it back to her.

Kind regards,

Anca
