An article recently published ( http://cancerres.aacrjournals.org/content/77/13_Supplement/112) finding the following:
" Cell viability assays done with the four drugs, bardoxolone methyl, salinomycin, disulfiram, and elesclomol, show these drugs inhibit the growth of ovarian cancer cell lines both as TICs and in corresponding adherent cultures. Disulfiram showed preferential killing of TICs in some of the cell lines tested."
Salinomycin and Disulfiram are two treatments options I highly relevant in my view. The others I do not know yet and will check them asap.
Hi Daniel,
Thank you for this information. I think they can help my mom.
Kind regards,
Anca
daniel disulfiram is indeed best to target CSC but how do we increase its effectiveness as somewhere I read that it gets metabolized/.
