Dear Matt,

I do not have info on RGE used in humans with positive results, but if there is any, I am very good at fining it. These days I was, and I am extremely busy with a lot of requests for help on the email and a lot of work on MCS Formulas. As soon as I get more time for research I will look into RGE.

For IV, I would probably look for DMSO/water and/or ethanol/water extracts (to be sterilized and used) or if there is any issue with specific compounds from the whole plant extract (for IV delivery) I would just select the main ingredients expected to induce the anti cancer effects, such as allicin and convert it into an injectable form, probably with a little kolliphor.

Please remind me again to look into it.

Kind regards,

Daniel

Daniel,

I have found good information regarding raw garlic's anti-cancer properties, the ability to deliver it via IV, some reasonable dosing guidelines, its relative benignity, and excellent performance on mice (Cui study). The one thing I lack is information on how it is performing on people with cancer. I have spoken with an integrative oncologist who said that, in China, he used it for leukemia and, while it was not a silver bullet, he sees it as a good adjuvant.

Do you have any information on how RGE has worked for people with different types of cancers? I'm having a hard time finding this kind of data. If you are aware of any information along these lines, would greatly appreciate seeing it. Thank you for all that you do.

Daniel,

Thank you for your amazingly quick response. I am attaching a patent for the delivery of RGE via IV. It provides dosing information (.065g of RGE per kg of body weight). For most people this equates to 5g, which gets put into a 500cc bag of normal saline.

https://patents.google.com/patent/US8778421B1/en

It appears that creating the juice by blending and then centrifuge (per Zheng Cui's paper) are best done in cold conditions. I'm thinking storing the RGE in dry ice or the freezer.

Any additional thoughts will be most appreciated.

Blessings,

Dear Mat,

I have no references on its use as IV in humans. If I find the time, I will check the literature for that.

In order to convert doses from animals to humans here are the formulas that are typically used https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Bai-Yan_Li/post/Studies_in_antidiuretic_papers_show_the_dose_used_for_HCTZ_is_10_mg_kg_in_a_rat_If_I_use_furosemide_then_what_will_be_the_equivalent_dose_for_a_rat/attachment/59d629fec49f478072e9c9a2/AS:272424950534145@1441962577658/download/ACUC42-1.pdf

Do you have any reference point on doing RGE in humans, in terms of source, dose and formulation for IV?

I am trying to figure out the dose for RGE for my son, who is 72kg. The mouse dose is 1ml RGE to a 15g mouse according to Zheng Cui's paper. I've read an article on how to convert animal dose to human equivalent dose, but it seems to be way too high (392ml). Can you help me figure out the HED? It looked like Nuc had figured out the math. My plan would be to deliver intravenously via 500cc bag of normal saline.

My son was diagnosed with stage 4 duodenal adenocarcinoma in March 2020 and made amazing progress on chemo, IVC, IV mistletoe, fasting, paleo diet, supplements. The main tumor and all mets disappeared but, recently, bone mets are back. We took chemo down to 60% at round 11 but I don't think that was low enough. Probably should have been at metronomic dose (10-30%). We are now considering the addition of RGE and hyperthermia. Would love to know how others have done with RGE.

Thanks for your help.

Matt

5. Conclusions

The bioavailability of allicin from garlic powder supplements containing alliin and active alliinase can be as high as that from an equivalent amount of crushed raw garlic containing maximum allicin, when consumed with a meal.

This was found to be true for all tested brands of normal (non-enteric) tablets, including the main garlic powder supplement, Kwai (N1), which has been used in a large number of clinical trials on the possible health benefits of garlic and validates the results of these trials as representing about 1 g of crushed raw garlic.

Compared to non-enteric tablets, allicin bioavailability from enteric tablets was found to be much more variable (36–104%) and to be strongly reduced (22–57%) when consumed with a high-protein meal, due to delayed gastric emptying.

:

Based on the allicin metabolite equivalence found for the 13 garlic powder supplements tested, a person would need to consume 0.7 to 27 tablets/capsules to obtain the same equivalence as consuming 2 g of crushed raw garlic;

however, the recommended daily dose by the supplement manufacturers varied from 1–6 tablets/capsules per day, highlighting the need for more complete standardization.

With a more correct understanding of allicin bioavailability, better standards are now being recommended for garlic powder supplements being used in future clinical trials and being consumed by the general public, which standards include a dosage form with sufficient allicin bioavailability and alliin content or allicin potential to represent a daily dose of 2–4 g of typical crushed raw garlic.

Warning:

According to the stoputiforever.com the lowest toxicity dose associated with garlic was 400mg/kg.

Also garlic affect the coagulation, so even with just eating garlic if you take Warfarin there is a danger of combined effect and consequentially danger of internal bleeding.

I would be really happy to hear comments from you and a discussion how to possibly apply this information to cancer treatments.

Anyway it seems to me that with the garlic we cannot make a mistake.

Hi friends, just would like to share the following information here:

Phytochemicals of Garlic: Promising Candidates for Cancer Therapy

March 2020

Of the numerous health benefits of garlic, the anticancer effect is probably the most noticeable.

Observations over the past years have shown that the consumption of garlic in the diet provides strong protection against cancer risk.

Previous studies involving garlic phytochemicals have usually focused on the cancer chemopreventive properties, but there is little published evidence showing its therapeutic potential in cancer treatment.

In view of the multitargeted carcinoma actions and lack of severe toxicity, some components of garlic are likely to play vital roles in the selective killing of cancer cells.

However, the rational design of experimental studies and clinical trials are required to verify this concept.

This paper discusses the promises and pitfalls of garlic for the treatment of cancer.
