CML shows up on PET scan  https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17885356

This means that regarless of the genetic mutations, there is a good chance it will be sensitive to metabolic treatments such as 2DG.

However, next to glycolisis inhibitors, it may be a good idea to add mitochondrial inhibitors.

According to this PhD thesis, mito inhibitors will improve effectiveness of conventional therapies against CML cancer stem cells  http://theses.gla.ac.uk/8615/1/2017KuntzPhD.pdf

Here is a list of mitochondria inhibitors easily accessible  https://www.cancertreatmentsresearch.com/a-list-of-mitochondria-inhibitors/  one of which is Metformin.
