Regulation of human glioblastoma cell death by combined treatment of cannabidiol, γ-radiation and small molecule inhibitors of cell signaling pathways
@loco0000 Hi Alex, yes you can e-mail me via the email on this website, contact section. Kind regards, Daniel
@j or @daniel or @manuone or anyone else - do you guys have any studies on Sodium phenylbutyrate and glioblastoma or cancer? i only found this that's a phase 1 and not that convincing - I am trying to make the pitch to my mom's doctor to put her on it and trying to figure out how to build the case
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1871887/
also does it make sense to pair this with DCA? or it's redundant? in one place it seems like it's a good idea
here it seems like they kind of do the same thing

PB is metabolized by the body and produces phenylacetylglutamine and phenylacetate also called antineoplastons A10 and AS2-1.

Long-Term Survival (23 Years) in a 26-Year-old Male after Antineoplaston Therapy for a Progressive, Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma: A Case Report
(note that Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma is the most deadly of all cancers and conventional treatment has never cured any of such patients ref)
I think you're idea of adding substances to try to enhance a therapeutic effect is excellent. Note that PB is very well tolerated. I don't see any downside to using it, I think it has about a 15 to 30% chance of producing a noticeable anticancer effect.

Daniel has often referred to cancer as an infectious disease.
PB in combination with chemotherapy
Induction of Apoptosis in Malignant B Cells by Phenylbutyrate or Phenylacetate in Combination with Chemotherapeutic Agents
Clinical trials of these drugs as single agents indicate that they are not myelosuppressive; therefore, combinations with other chemotherapy agents may be possible.
Study show additive and in some case synergistic effects

Thanks a lot @Johan - greatly appreciated. Sorry for the delay in reponse - Mom has been feeling iffy - she had some gastritis and she couldn't eat for a couple of days and has been throwing up. Now shes feeling better but she still throws up from time to time :(. We just started the 5 days of chemo.

I hope she feels better soon! Ginger tea (doesn't have to be fresh ginger, 1 gram of dried organic ginger powder in boiled water is OK) with a little lemon juice might help with nausea.
@j Johan - the ginger tea idea helped tremendously - thanks a lot my friend!
