Tumours that explode under the effect of a polyunsaturated fatty acid, DHA: this is what researchers from UCLouvain have observed and explained. Their results are published in the journal Cell Metabolism and create possibilities for prevention and combined treatment in fighting cancer.

Very interesting Johan, was not sure if supplement as our diet is very high in oily fish but perhaps it will be a good idea, specially for brain tumours? What lipid metabolism inhibitors would be best to use?

Yes, I'd supplement with DHA, even if you're getting quite a bit from diet.

Don't know much about lipid metabolism inhibitors, Ursolic Acid comes to mind, which is a very useful compound in cancer including brain cancer.
