Today is Glioblastoma Awareness Day! Why did you delete this case report of a glioblastoma survivor from your search engine?

Not addressed at you, Daniel.

Have you noticed a drop in visitors coming from Google? I find that they are censoring more and more...

Hi Johan, ah ok. I thought you're getting angry at me, but it was Google.

Yes, Johan, I have seen that clearly in March 2020:

- The number of visitors grew constantly and gradually from the start of the website in 2015, reaching about 3000 visitors per day in March 2020.
- In April 2020, the number of visitors started to drop fast, so that in a few months it reached about 1000 visitors per day, and continuing so that today we are at about 600 visitors per day.

While the drop from 1000 to 600 could be attributed to reduce activity on the Blog from my side, the drop from 3000 to about 1000 was clearly an action from Google.

How do I know that? I checked that carefully as I am a curious person, and pages that were coming in Google search on the first page, have been moved away in a matter of weeks going to page number 5, 6, 10, etc. Furthermore, this silencing took place during a time when this Blog was very much alive.

This is wrong and totally against science, since:

1. Everything I stated was backed up by science, or personal opinion based on science, and
2. I am a highly cited scientist with papers published in top peer review journals (even making it on the cover of such journals and discussed by journalists at Science and Nature magazine) with >1000 citations per paper, with discoveries that are now becoming the basis of new technology and new devices

I am not saying this to tap myself on my own shoulder, but to bring context to their actions.
I know I am not the only one, but instead and unfortunately one of too many.

While they refer to science, stating "follow the science" based on facts, this is essentially saying "follow the politics" as this is clearly not science based action.

Why are they doing this? I have a view, but I prefer to stay with the facts listed above.

In this context, it becomes very important that we all stay connected, form communities to share our findings, be aware and create awareness, and act as we can each of us to make the world better.

Kind regards,
Daniel

@daniel again sorry I confused you. A site like yours should only be getting more visitors from Google, yet the opposite is occurring, a drop from 3000 to 600 in just a few years is massive! My blog post on glioblastoma used to be listed in Google not on page 1 or anything close but at least it was listed. Now it's just de-listed. Censorship is increasingly noticeable and I don't think people are better off because of it. The rollout of AI in search engines is equally worrying because they know most people just want convenience and quick answers to their search queries so with this new technology they can just serve whatever response they choose.

@j  Hi Johan, no problem. Thank u for the clarifications. Beyond all the advancements in AI and all the less positive intentions of those behind these actions, I do believe each of us must stay positive, act positive and have positive expectations. I trust God takes care of everything.

@daniel, indeed your site appears to have a penalty in Google, this web site used to rank #1 or #2 for the search string "Fenbendazole cancer", and now that page doesn't even come up in the search results at least not on my end.

You might want to do a few tests and try updating some of the posts that are popular topics such as fenbendazole and get them on your home page again. If that doesn't help then you might want to check directly with Google and submit a reconsideration request:

March 2020, the start of the pandemic. Coincidence? I remember you wrote a post on anti-virals around that time...
