We often search for autophagy inhibitors. Hydroxychloroquine is one that we often use but it has challenges related to absorption in acidic environments and currently is not available to to its use as a treatment against COVID.

Clarithromycin is another option:

Clarithromycin attenuates autophagy in myeloma cells. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20811702/

Inhibition of autophagy with clarithromycin: a new strategy to enhance sensitivity of CML stem cells to tyrosine kinase inhibitors https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4851206/

Azithromycin could be another one https://cancercommun.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s40880-018-0309-9
