Mebendazole can also be an option. Please search this website and you will find more ideas relevant to cholangiocarcinoma. There are two places you can search in: 1. The Forum - click here: 2. ... by suppressing ALDH activity and accordingly reducing the malignancy of cholangiocarcinoma (CCA). "Materials and Methods: We developed gemcitabine (GEM)-resistant TFK-1 cells and originally established CCA cell line from a patient with GEM-resistant CCA. Using these cell lines, we analyzed the impacts of MNZ for cancer stem cell markers, invasiveness, and chemosensitivity. Results: MNZ reduced ALDH activity in GEM-resistant CCA cells, leading to decreased invasiveness and enhanced chemosensitivity. MNZ diminished the invasiveness by inducing mesenchymal-epi ...

I am sorry to hear this Margit. I will let D answer for himself, though a trip to Dayspring (Arizona) would be something to consider. A while back they had a cholangiocarcinoma patient. This patient was very highly advanced and initially had a response to 3-BP, though they were unable to continue treatment due to issues related to the advanced stage of the illness. Dayspring has treated some very advanced patients with some impressive responses. You would have to contact them to assess what length of response they might expect. Best Wishes, Jcancom
